Blue Vigil is a company that manufactures, distributes, and supports tether power systems for drones. Their main offering is the RS1000 Ground Power System. A drone tethered to the RS1000 can be set up in at a specific altitude and left. If something goes wrong with the UAV, the tether keeps it from flying off and endangering those on the ground.
