Manage episode 334584210 series 3372246
Is there a habit you would like to incorporate into your life?
Do you want to start taking daily walks, or start a regular meditation practice?
Or, are you wondering how to break a habit, like late-night snacking?
As you think about how you care for yourself in this next chapter, what type of new habit would you like to bring into your life or be more consistent about?
Welcome to the 3rd episode of Habit Thrive! Today, I am talking about caring for your habits, so they can take care of you. I take a deep dive into how to create habits and routines that you’ll actually want to stick to, and also how to break habits you want to get rid of.
I am breaking down the C.A.R.E.S habit-forming method for you, which makes creating healthy routines much more attainable. I give you tons of practical advice and examples that will have you get well on your way to living a healthier and happier life!
The most important thing you can remember is that our brain automatically keeps up habits to keep itself from getting worn out. Sometimes they work for us, but sometimes it’s not in the best interest of our future selves.
I know there are some barriers that stop us from starting something new, but I’m here to tell you it’s absolutely possible with the right approach!
Keep being you, nobody else does you better than you!
