In this Episode, I speak with Harsh Pokharna, Co-Founder and CEO, OkCredit.

OkCredit is a digital udhar-khata for Indian merchants who face the constant problem of keeping track of their dues from multiple Consumers. Solving for Middle India and the billion Indians, OkCredit envisions to own the entire stack of problems that the merchants face and build products that solve for the same. This has led them to launch two new products, OkShop, enabling traditional merchants to create Digital Stores on WhatsApp seamlessly, and OkStaff, which solves for the staffing issues related to salaries and attendance.

Present in more than 3000 Indian cities, in 13+ languages with over 20 lakh downloads and 5 lakh plus active users, OkCredit is growing massively and is backed by some of the greatest investors in the ecosystem, LightSpeed & Tiger Global.

Harsh is an extremely kind and enthusiastic young individual, who graduated from IIT Kanpur, worked at flipkart for 6 months before he left to build Products. Having tried his hand at multiple products, they finally built OkCredit, with great vision and passion. Harsh values his team to a great extent and gives us some great cues to keep in mind while building utility driven Products.
